Margaret Kerr
Margaret Kerr of Larienna Kennels passed away on 1 August 2010 after having suffered several strokes, writes Barbara Dabbs.
She was a colourful personality with great spirit and a zest for life. The last 40 years had been dominated by animals and the last 30 years breeding and showing Maltese.
She had made up two champions and was herself a knowledgeable chanpionship show judge. She was an extremely treasured member of the Maltese Club having served on the committee for many years.
Her enthusiasm was infectious when you were in her company. She had a smile and words of encouragement for everyone she came into contact with.
She kept in touch with every single person who bought a puppy from her for the dog’s life.
Margaret will be sadly missed by her niece and her many friends. I consider it a privilege to have been a close friend to such a special person.
