The recent treacherous weather conditions which prevented millions of people from getting to work across Britain were not a problem for Laura Clark, one of the Kennel Club’s recently-appointed Accredited Breeder Advisors.

Laura attended her first official breeder visit, near Maidstone in Kent, and was not put off by the heavy snow in the area. In fact, Laura could not get her car within a mile of the breeder’s property but soldiered on and made the rest of the journey on foot.

Laura was happy to report a successful visit for both the breeder and the Kennel Club. Was the breed worried about the snow? “I doubt it”, said Laura. “They were Bernese Mountain Dogs!”
