The clock has been ticking over the last few weeks as we have built up to the greatest dog show on earth, the cup final for dogs! Crufts, now supported by the DFS group, is upon us and after all the hard work and preparation by the time this paper hits the streets, the first awards will already have been made on Thursday at the NEC.

We all await a new look with the new sponsor, and of course this year Gerald King is experiencing his first year as Chairman of the Crufts committee. We also have a new TV company on board in More 4, so everything seems set fair for four great days and an extravaganza for dog lovers.

Even the general media appear to be positive (but don’t hold your breath) as our leader inside points out.

One way or another OUR DOGS wishes all exhibitors and trade stands a very successful show, one much deserved by the hard working permanent Crufts events office at the KC.

We look forward to meeting our many readers and friends on the OUR DOGS stands in Halls 1, 2 and 5 over the next few days. Also pictured are Crufts presenters, Frank Kane and Peter Purves, both of whom will be signing their books on the OUR DOGS stand.
