The sky’s the limit for Skye!
A DOGUE de Bordeaux made breed history at Manchester as it was the first time that a Dogue has been placed in the group.
Dogue de Bordeaux had a fabulous entry of 116 for judge Mrs Sue Searle, hard to believe that the breed does not yet have Championship status, but the popularity of the breed is increasing each year!
At Manchester, Mrs Karina Le Mare chose Multi Champion Tyrannus Skyejacked by Emberez as her group 1 winner. ‘Skye’ is owned by Nik Buriknell and Becky Swainston, and won Best Bitch and Best of Breed and topped the Working Group beating 1192 dogs at Manchester. Skye was Best Puppy at Crufts, the year that the breed was first exhibited there. Her other achievements also include the overall winner of the French & Dutch Clubmatch - twice, Top Dogue UK 2008, Working Group 3 at Blackpool 2010, and winner of the group at the Kortrijk show in December 2010 and many other championship titles across Europe.
