Peke wins at Belfast

Issue: 29/09/2017

At Belfast Championship Show, sponsored by HappyDog, a Pekingese made history and also took two BIS awards in two days.
On Saturday September 23rd Eng Ch. Klerkshof English Rose (20 months old) was in London at the Peke Reform Ch show in Surrey where she won the CC and Best In Show under Judge, Mr Geoffrey Davis.
Mollie  then travelled to Ireland for Belfast show where she won her tenth CC, Best of Breed, and then the group and BIS under the BIS judge Mr Espen Engh from Norway.
At Belfast Mollie  set a new milestone for the breed becoming the only Pekingese Bitch for 42 years to win Best In Show at a UK General All Breed championship Show  the last being Darlington 1975 in the shape of Ch. Beaupres Belle). Congratulations to owners Anita Klerks-Delucchi and Bill Leslie who were clearly delighted with these results.
