Gin and Tonic?
Britain’s Got Talent audience wowed by Kate
ANIMAL ACTS rarely impress the judges on talent shows but the sight of the incredulous grin on the face of an astounded Simon Cowell during ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent auditions as 16-year-old Kate Nicholas and Gin performed was almost as incredible as Kate and Gin’s performance.
Kate and Gin appeared before over ten million tv viewers on the show. After only a few seconds it was clear that Kate and Gin had won over the judges and the audience with ease and romped through to the next round. Also impressed was judge Piers Morgan. He thinks the pair could go all the way and win the second series of the popular show. The duo, from Whitchurch in Shropshire, beat thousands of hopefuls by impressing the audience and judges with their extraordinary Heelwork to Music routine.
Kate and Gin danced to The James Bond theme at The Palace Theatre in Our Dogs’ home town, Manchester. They are now in the semi-final and could end up performing in front of Prince Charles.
After seeing their performance Piers said: ‘I think we have to accept that the winner of Britain's Got Talent this year might not be human’ and Simon Cowell added: ‘All my life I have searched for the new Lassie and I think I've found him’. Simon was clearly seen mouthing ‘Oh my God!’ during the routine.
Kate performed in the Young Kennel Club events ring at Crufts this year and was self-effacing about her and Gin’s abilities when interviewed by Our Dogs. But later during the show, May Ray told us that she thought Kate was one of the UK’s most talented trainers and predicted great things for her. It is difficult to believe that Kate only began Heelwork to Music Now the pair are busy preparing a new routine for the semi finals. Good luck!
