KC Chairman demands action - NOW!
LAST WEEK’S airing of the much publicised Pedigree Dogs Exposed has left most dog breeders and exhibitors incredulous and angry and others feeling that it may have served as a timely reminder that there are issues that need addressing by the KC and breeders before it becomes too late.
KC Chairman, Ronnie Irving, has been clear and concise in his reaction to the programme, as have Caroline Kisko and Bill lambert, who both acquitted themselves extremely well in radio and TV interviews following last Tuesday’s prime time slot.

A first for City of Birmingham Show
Our Dogs is delighted to announce an exclusive series of talks to take place at the City of Birmingham show. The veterinary consultants of Rutland House Referral Hospital, St Helens, Merseyside have put together a series of “Ask the experts” sessions specially written for Birmingham City Dog Show in association with Our Dogs, and these will take place at Stoneleigh.
Each consultant will present a fully illustrated talk of about 35- 40 minutes length followed by questions. The talks are largely geared to the breeds on the day, and the experts have even suggested people bring their lunch into the lecture theatres, so as not to miss out on these highly informative talks.
There will be no charge for exhibitors to attend the talks and more details will follow in next weeks issue. For now, here is the proposed programme which brings an added dimension to the day:

Siberian Husky wins at Estoril

The popular International Show in Estoril took place last weekend in the gardens in front of the famous casino, close to Lisbon.
Many UK and Irish judges have been on the panel in past years, and this year the best in show was judged by well known Swedish judge Dan Ericsson.
Our photo shows the best in show line up and panel, together with
Carla Molinari, President of the Portuguese Kennel Club, and the Siberian Husky BIS winner for both the National and International show on Saturday and Sunday,
