The Irish Kennel Club, organisers of the forthcoming European Show in Dublinhas extended the final entries closing date by one week to Friday April 24th.

Already in a 'concession to the recession' the organisers have tried to help
exhibitors by keeping down the cost of entry by maintaining the mid rate
entry fee for the last two months and IKC Secretary Marion Campbell told OUR
DOGS,  "we have received a significant rush of entries in the last week,
leading to this extension period. It is obviously a difficult time
financially but entries are still coming in, so we want to reassure everyone
that they will be accepted at this time."

Clearly shows based in the heart of Europe with no sea crossings will always
attract a higher entry but if the entry tops 4000 plus the entry from the
Kennel Club show for Irish breeds, the show will be perhaps one of the
biggest ever to take place in Ireland.OUR DOGS will bring readers an update
on the show entry in a forthcoming issue.

Entries can be made by going to the IKC web site
