Natures Menu is off to the movies for this year’s hottest summer film
Natures Menu is launching its first national cinema advert this summer with
Cats & Dogs: the Revenge of Kitty Galore – the long-awaited sequel to 2001’s hit Cats & Dogs.
The movie, which is about cats and dogs having to work together to defeat a rogue cat spy,
has already been tipped as the film of the summer. Natures Menu decided it would be the perfect platform
to tell pet owners about their food and who better to deliver the message than pets themselves!
The advert is a spoof news bulletin with an interviewer asking a variety of dogs why they love
Natures Menu food. One of the dogs featured is a radio star Bulldog called Matilda,
who is a big fan of Natures Menu’s complete tripe blocks – so much so that rather than get paid
for her role in the advert she requested a freezer full of her favourite food instead.
Matilda can usually be heard snoring over the airwaves on a Thursday evening when she joins her owner, JoAnne Good, on BBC London 94.9’s Late Show for a special doggie segment. Barking at the Moon
is the only weekly radio slot dedicated to man’s best friend and has amassed a huge following since it launched at the beginning of the year.
The Natures Menu range includes cans, pouches, frozen nuggets and blocks, and healthy treats
for ultimate owner convenience. All varieties contain the right balance of vitamins and minerals to help maintain a healthy active life with no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives.
Natures Menu Petfoods is a family-run business based in Norfolk that has been passionate about pet nutrition since 1981. You can watch the advert and find out more about the Natures Menu range by visiting the website at www.naturesmenu.co.uk. You will also be able to see the advert on the big screen when
Cats & Dogs: the Revenge of Kitty Galore opens in the UK on 4th August 2010.
