Margaret Nawrockyi
(Dog Theft Action) retires

Almost ten years ago Margaret Nawrockyi became concerned about the increasing number for dogs which were being stolen or going missing without trace. Unlike most people she decided to do something about it and now the organisation she founded is recognised and appreciated throughout the UK.
Dog Theft Action, registered as a charity in 2006 was formed to promote the protection, security and welfare of dogs from the threat of dog theft by providing advice, information and education coordinating the various agencies concerned. The objective was to reduce the incidents of dog theft, provide information to the victims of dog theft and to assist them in their search for their stolen/missing dog.

The most thoughtful was The Wonder of Dogs and was presented on BBC2 on Thursday evening. It was the first of three such hour-long programmes to be broadcast over a three week period.
