Alaskan Malamute wins BIS at Sintra, Portugal

This weekend saw a top panel of European judges going over a record entry in Sintra, near Lisbon. UK judges included Andrew Brace and Frank Kane, and from Ireland Tom Hehir and Gerry Cox.

Best in Show out of a strong line up was the Alaskan Malamute Mex Ch Zulem I Can To Be Magic owned by Javier Cabello and Cristina Sanchez from Madrid under the well-known Dutch judge Hans Van den Berg.

Special congratulations should also go to British exhibitor Betty Judge (Plushcourt) who not only travelled all the way to Portugal to show, but who also won BIS Portuguese Breeds at the National Show on Saturday with her home bred Podengos. Congratulations to all concerned.
