Eukanuba All Breeds Puppy Start

Weaning represents a very vulnerable time for puppies as many changes are taking place in their development. Their acquired immunity from the mother is waning and they are yet to be vaccinated by the vet, so they need to be in peak health throughout this period. Eukanuba Puppy Start can help with a smooth transition to solid foods.

• Highly digestible ingredients and a natural fibre blend, including beet pulp, MOS and the prebiotics FOS to help support the natural balance of the intestinal microflora and to help optimise nutrient absorption.

• Excellent acceptance by puppies.

• No. 1 ingredient is chicken.

• Optimal ratio of Omega 6-Omega 3 for a healthy skin and radiant coat

• Gentle on the digestive system and promotes optimal nutrient absorption to reduce the risk of digestive upsets.

• No colourants or preservatives added

Mystery dog illness investigated

Signs are to be put up in the New Forest warning dog owners about a mysterious and potentially fatal disease that has already killed 17 dogs across Britain in recent months.
The Forestry Commission notices will tell owners to take their pet to a vet should it develop symptoms such as lesions on its legs, paws or face. Vets say the disease - which leads to kidney failure - is similar to ‘Alabama Rot’, which was first seen in the US in the 1980s. The source of the disease is unknown.

It has often been said that the Border Collie is the breed that has it all – brains and beauty. Initially bred to herd sheep, over time the Border Collie has developed into one of the most varied and versatile of all breeds, proving to be an expert in a huge number of fields including agility, obedience and working trials.

If you are fortunate enough to own a good working bitch and wish to breed from her, experienced working dog breeder Michael Brander has written this book for you. He guides the novice step-by-step through the basic procedures for rearing a litter of sound working pups. He gives first-hand advice on assessing your bitch's suitability, choosing the potential sire, arranging the mating and, if all goes according to plan, care of the pregnant bitch
