The 2006 Best in show Trophy at this year’s Westminster Show
was awarded to Bishop, Poole, Shepherd & Poole’s Coloured Bull Terrier
Ch Rocky Top's Sundance Kid, affectionately known as ‘Rufus’.

Also in the cards in a snowy New York were British-bred dogs including last year’s Crufts Best in show Beale, Ingram, Matell & Sweigart’s Norfolk Terrier Ch Cracknor Cause Celebre (Terrier group 2), Woodruff’s Pekingese Ch Yakee If Only, bred by A Easdon & P Martin (Toy group 2) and McConnell & Crowther’s Hungarian Puli Ch Catsun Comanche, bred by Ian Crowther (Herding group 4).

dog shows; in fact, it’s ‘snow joke’...!

Through hail, rain and snow...OUR DOGS reaches the parts where other
newspapers fail to go!!

Thanks to all our friends and customers who came to see us
on the DOG NEWS stand in New York.

Dallas Grooming Manual
for the Dog and Cat

Authors: Sue Dallas, Diana North, Joanne Angus

One of the responsibilities of every dog or cat owner is that of coat care. There are many and varied coat types and there is a vast difference between the time it takes to groom a Doberman and an Old English Sheepdog, a Siamese and a Persian cat.

This book provides much needed guidance for groomers, breeders and owners and will be invaluable for those taking the City and Guilds 775 Grooming exam and animal care students of all levels.

Step by step grooming/clipping techniques are described for the more popular breeds of dog and cat and in each case the technique is illustrated with photographic sequences. The book also includes allied subjects such as skin care, commonly found skin parasites and basic first aid and handling.

Easy to understand, in-depth information for all dog and cat owners
