Snow,
cold winds and sub zero temperatures greeted exhibitors and
visitors to the 127th Westminster Kennel Club show earlier
this week, writes Bill Moores (Our Dogs Editor).
As armed guards protected 'significant buildings and venues'
in New York City, 2,500 dogs were on show at Madison Square
Garden, where the Crufts winning Kerry Blue Terrier Ch Torums
Scarf Michael, bred by Ron Ramsay and pictured above at last
years Westminster, went Best in show under judge Charles
J Foley, echoing the BIS success at Manchester Ch Show two
days earlier, of his brother, Ch Torums Tunde Bayou.
See next week for more news and photographs from the show.
