7th - 10th March 2002
THE NEC BIRMINGHAM, ENGLAND

OVERSEAS QUALIFICATIONS

The Kennel Club has nominated specific awards at particular Shows in each of the European countries entitled to take part in the UK PETS Travel Scheme, as qualification for Crufts 2002.

The qualifying dogs will be the winners of the following classes :-

  • Junior Dog
  • Junior Bitch Classes
  • Best Dog
  • Best Bitch

Therefore, four dogs of each breed will qualify for Crufts 2002 at each nominated Show. This will apply to any breed that is recognised by The Kennel Club.

For a list of recognised breeds click here! - breeds on the Imported Breed Register are not entitled to enter.

Crufts will provide award cards for each of these winners (to be presented by the organisers of each nominated Show) and a copy of the card will be required with each entry for Crufts to verify the qualification.

The Kennel Club for each country has been contacted to nominate one major Show as their representative Show. Qualification for Crufts is not limited to Nationals of the particular country therefore a dog not qualifying at its own National Show could endeavour to qualify at a Show in another country.
