Greyhound welfare meeting hailed as 'start of dialogue'

On Monday 29th October, Lord Lipsey organised a meeting between a representative of BOLA (Betting Office Licensees Association) and the major animal welfare charities (NCDL, RSPCA, Blue Cross, Battersea Dogs Home). The aim of the meeting was to discuss Greyhound welfare issues. It was agreed that this should be the start of dialogue between the groups.

The NCDL is working towards the day when all dogs can enjoy a happy life, free from the threat of unnecessary destruction.
