THE FUN day organised by anti-puppy farm group WAG was a resounding success. Staged at Loudon Castle on Sunday, May 7th, the event attracted a large number of visitors, together with their dogs.
Once again the charity was inundated with donations for this event. The main prizes of two family tickets were donated by Loudon Castle Theme Park and their mascot Rory, who opened the show and was on hand to greet the visitors and their dogs.
A large volume of dogs were microchipped by the Dogs Trust, and there was a successful car boot sale along with the equally successful companion breed and obedience shows.
Ken McKie on behalf of WAG said, "Even a couple of small showers of rain could not dampen the spirits of those at our event. The money raised by this carries our campaign through the coming year and words cannot express our appreciation of the public and sponsors for their support"
