CEVA Animal Health is delighted to announce that this highly popular competition will be running again in 2006.
The fear of fireworks competition is open to all veterinary practices across the UK. The purpose of the competition is to raise awareness in pet owners about how the fireworks season has the potential to change the behaviour of their pets.
CEVA has a proud history of developing effective solutions to combat behavioural problems in cats and dogs. This includes the highly renowned FELIWAY® for cats and D.A.P.®, which is an appeasing pheromone for dogs. Both FELIWAY® and D.A.P.® products can help to reduce fear and apprehension, which is commonly seen in both cats and dogs during the firework season.
To enter the competition your practice needs to create a display following the fear of fireworks theme, take a photograph and send it to CEVA by 31st October 2006. There are two categories in this year’s competition; display board inside the practice or a window display. There will be two winners one from each category who will each receive a generous £400 worth of high street shopping vouchers. Six runners up will receive £100 in high street vouchers.
Last years’ winner Claire Girt from the Smith, Ryder-Davies & Partners practice said that it was a fantastic competition. ‘Our display really managed to create awareness about how the fireworks season changed the behaviour of pets, plus it was great fun too’. Claire wholeheartedly encourages all practices to get involved this year.
