OUR DOGS was pleased to attend the delightful Cheshire Show, deep in the heart of the Cheshire countryside on 23 and 24 June. The show was blessed with fantastic weather as our photographs show, and all this on top of an increased entry on last year.
Thanks are due to Secretary Cathy Lawton Anderson and Chief Steward Steve Atkinson, and show manager David Moss from the OUR DOGS team. The judges list read like a who’s who in dogs with Jack Bispham, Vic Salt, Matthew Bostock, Paul and Marie Harding, Lee Cox, Michael Coad, Kevin Young, Jeff Luscott, tom Johnston from Scotland, local girl Julia Swann (Swanndale) and looking pretty in pink Lynn McEwan and many others. All in all a list to grace a general championship show, which Cheshire Show used to be of course.
The AVNSC, group and BIS judging was carried out by Meg Purnell and a sterling job she did in the hot weather…our photo catches Meg enjoying a well earned ice cream at the end of judging on Wednesday!
Well done to all, here’s to next year.
