|JCR Review Panel meeting a success
At the most recent meeting of the JCF Independent Review Panel, held on Monday 21 October at Clarges Street, matters were successfully concluded with the Panel Chair Irene McManus and two further members being delegated the responsibility of putting together a summary of findings for the KC Board’s consideration.
These findings follow on from widespread consultation undertaken by the Panel at all levels; from new judges who have yet to undertake their first appointment, to all breed best in show judges.
The Panel are confident that the findings, which take into account the opinions of thousands of individuals with a vested interest in judging pedigree dogs in the UK, will represent what they believe to be the most appropriate way to positively take forward both existing and future judging schemes.
Having heard from a significant number of people, the Panel would like to thank all individuals who kindly gave up their time to contribute their thoughts and opinions to the process; many provided highly detailed and thorough responses, all of which have been considered appropriately.
The Panel’s findings will remain confidential until they have been presented to the KC Board and to KC Members at the forthcoming KC Special General Meeting on 12th November.
