|Obituary - John William Turner
I have known John for 20 years during which time he has been my dearest neighbour and best friend, writes Sue Garrett.
For me, his passing is another big hole in my life. John and his partner Peter were a massive source of help, support and love during the illness and passing of my husband 18 months ago.
John was the kindest and most wonderful man you could ever hope to meet. He cared about everybody and would always be there for you whether you asked or not.
His life was devoted to his family, his dogs and all his friends.
For many years he bred several breeds of dogs and in his latter years he showed and judged dogs with his late brother, Gary.
The small community where he lived is in total mourning in the sad and sudden loss of such a caring, friendly, lovable and generous and funny man who will be very sorely missed.
R.I.P. dearest John.
John's funeral will be held on Tuesday 14th November at 12.30 at the Lincoln Crematorium, Washingborough Road, Lincoln LN4 1EF. Family flowers only. Donations in memory of John to the Heart Foundation. John's express wishes that mourners wear no black.
