|Substantial award offered for missing dogs
A dog breeder is offering a £50,000 reward after thieves stole four dachshund and seven French Bulldog puppies from his home in Loughton, Essex.
Mark Orley is desperate to get his dogs back as soon as possible as he fears if he doesn't they will die.
He told OUR DOGS, 'I left to go to Gatwick to make a drop off. About 20 minutes later I got a call from my son telling me the puppies had been stolen.
'Three mixed race guys aged 20 - 24 were outside making out they were from British Gas. I tell my son not to open the door to anybody but he opened the door slightly thinking they were from the gas company.
'They pushed at the door, my son tried to lock it but they pushed their way in to the living room.'
His 16-year-old son and 13- year-old daughter were held at knifepoint by the thieves as they took the puppies and emptied Mr Orley's wife's handbag. The three men then ran out of the door.
Initially, the reward was £20,000 but Mr Orley is so angry and desperate he has put it up. He said, 'You've got to do what you can to get them back which is why I have put up the reward.'
Four of the puppies need their mother's milk as they are too young to be weaned.
Mr Orley has put desperate posts on Facebook calling for the safe return of his dogs.
