Kennel Club Logo

Discover Dogs, organised by the Kennel Club, London’s biggest event on four legs, is returning to town on 13 and 14 November as the grand finale of London Dog Week. This year, we will once again be welcoming children under 12 into the doggy extravaganza for free, making this a day out that the whole family can enjoy.

Sponsored by Royal Canin, Discover Dogs is a unique platform to celebrate dogs in our society and educate dog lovers about more than 200 breeds of pedigree dog, which will be at the event for visitors to meet, greet and discover.

Four breed rescue societies will be featured each day, with their dogs and amazing stories of these unsung heroes who the Kennel Club supports. They are also joined by many of the main canine and animal welfare charities, The Metropolitan Police and their puppies and of course lots and lots of healthy, happy dogs!

The show also hosts the grand finale of Scruffts, The family Crossbreed Dog of the Year and is packed full of the very best of shopping for dog lovers, exciting Agility and displays, health and training tips from the experts - with new seminars from guest speakers.

Scruffts Grand Final

Scruffts is the nation’s favourite crossbreed competition and is a great way to enjoy time with your dog and family. A crossbreed is a dog of mixed blood, whose parents are of two different breeds, or a mixture of several breeds.

The Kennel Club is co-ordinating Scruffts heats throughout the UK in 2010. The winners from each heat will be invited to Discover Dogs 2010 in November for the Grand Final on Saturday 13 November in the Main Ring.

Discover TopLife at Discover Dogs

Top Life

Top breeders have reared dogs on goats’ milk for decades because of its digestibility and the nutritional benefits they’ve reaped in doing so. Most dogs love the taste of milk, but can face digestive problems with ordinary cows’ milk.*

Top Life Formula is goats’ milk with added extras. The innovative range of treats for dogs and cats has a highly digestible goats’ milk base with added ingredients and vitamins to give them a healthy boost.

As well as the goats’ milk, Top Life Formula Dog Milk contains glucosamine, chondroitin and green tea extract to encourage healthy joints and bones, good circulation and general well-being. There is also a little beef flavouring to titillate their taste buds.

Top Life Formula Puppy milk is specially formulated with added cream to make the fat levels as close as possible to the natural composition of the mother’s milk to help with weaning. It is also formulated to include Vitamins C & E to support the immune system - vital during the early days while pups are susceptible to infections and during the vaccination period.

*Dogs thrive on goats’ milk because it’s so digestible. The fat and protein molecules are much smaller and have thinner membranes than cows’ milk so pass through the body more easily. Easier digestion of the fat and protein allows lactose to pass through the system more rapidly, preventing a build up of lactose. Many humans who have an intolerance to cows’ milk, thrive on goats’ milk for the same reason.

Visit us at Discover Dogs (stand 186) to find out more about TopLife Formula and how it can benefit your dog. Our Dogs is giving away a free carton of TopLife with every purchase from their stand over £5.

Top Life Formula is available in 200ml cartons from Asda, Tesco, Morrisons and Ocado with an RRP of 58p.
